Labrador sits directly between Southport and Biggera Waters, bordered by the Broadwater to the east and the Gold Coast Highway to the west. It is a suburb of established homes, unit blocks and a growing number of renovations, with a community feel that has kept long-term residents in place for decades.

The streets around Frank Street, Brisbane Road and the quieter residential blocks running toward the Broadwater are home to a mix of families, retirees and investors. We have been laying floors in Labrador for years and it is a suburb we know well, in part because it is so close to our Southport showroom on Olympic Circuit.

Bell Carpets was founded in Southport in 1987 by Ron Bell. The business is now led by the second generation of the Bell family, from the same Olympic Circuit address. Nearly four decades of Gold Coast floors has given us a depth of knowledge about what works in this climate, in these homes, for these clients.

We specialise in carpet and vinyl plank only. That focus means we know the products, the suppliers, and the installation requirements better than a generalist ever could. When you call us about a Labrador job, you are talking to people who have laid floors in this suburb for years. We are still learning. We think that is exactly as it should be.
