Aquila Wood Acoustic takes eight of the most popular colours from the Aquila Wood collection and adds an integrated acoustic backing bonded to the underside of every plank. That means no separate underlay to roll out: superior impact-noise reduction comes built in, installation is faster, and the finished floor sits the same as standard direct-stick vinyl plank. Fully waterproof core and surface, micro bevel edges for a realistic timber look, and a 0.55mm wear layer with scratch and slip resistant coating. Built for Gold Coast homes and apartments where humidity, salt air, foot traffic, and Body Corporate noise requirements are facts of life, not exceptions.

Aquila Wood Acoustic carries the same fully waterproof PVC core as standard Aquila Wood, so it does not swell, warp, or delaminate in Gold Coast humidity and salt air. The difference is the acoustic backing bonded straight to the underside of every plank. There is no separate underlay to roll out, and impact noise reduction is built into the product. It is suited to apartments and upper storey installations where committee noise requirements apply. We can provide the manufacturer documentation needed to assess it against a building's requirements, including for Southport apartments and Main Beach apartments.
The 0.55mm wear layer with scratch and slip resistant coating handles sandy feet, pets, and high foot traffic, whether that's a beachside rental or a family home in Robina. ECS Level 2+ certification and Global GreenTag GreenRate Level A mean it meets Green Star indoor air quality requirements, relevant for apartments and body corporate builds. We supply the manufacturer's acoustic documentation for committee submissions.
